  • “The Silence of Memory” is a short story that explores violence, dreams, memory, and family.   • I am the Director of Student Inclusion and Engagement at the O’Neill School for Public and Environmental Affairs. I developed a leadership program for historically excluded students called Activate O’Neill and provide student support.

  • I am a PhD candidate at Loyola University Chicago specializing in critical theory. My dissertation, “Critical Philosophies, Human Rights, and Community-Based Research” use critical phenomenology and critical theory to guide my empirical, archival, legal on the carceral practice of civil commitment.

  • I was a 2023 Rule of Law Institute Research Fellow at Loyola University Chicago’s School of Law! My research is on the nature of the rule of law as it pertains to the civil commitment of people with sex offenses.

  • I’ve been active in Chicago’s music scene for over 15 years, most recently with post-punk band Negative Scanner. I’ve released three full-length albums and toured the U.S. and Europe.
